Most people know that driving while distracted is dangerous but many think of distracted driving as involving cell phones. But talking on the phone or texting someone isn’t the only thing that can take your eyes off the road. Changing the radio station, fiddling with your GPS, arguing with a passenger, or even reaching for a drink could be dangerous. Reminders of how important focus is can’t come too often, especially when you’re on long car trips and can suffer from falling into an autopilot / trance that may or may not allow you to have the quick reactions necessary. It only takes a split second to make a critical error that could cause an accident. Most people do notice bumper stickers and bumper magnets while driving, in parking lots, and at stoplights. Our new bumper magnets make a quick statement that can help spread awareness that could make a dramatic difference to the number of lives changed forever by distracted driving.
How many times have you been driving and had a near miss accident and realized that you weren’t paying close enough attention? Sadly, it happens to the best of us. Our bumper magnets can help remind people everywhere that distracted driving kills. Even if spotting the bumper just changes a driver’s habits for that car trip alone, it’s useful. Here at Enddd.org, we’re continually looking for ways to spread awareness so that people take focusing on driving very seriously. After a series of press conferences in New Jersey on March 31st announcing the new pedestrian law that we hope will save many lives, a lot of people wanted our new bumper magnets. We also made them available at >the successful benefit concert at West Chester University.
We’re pleased to say that they’re now on the entire fleet of Ocean City government vehicles as well and we’re happy to make them available to anyone who wants one.
