5K to Benefit EndDD.org Scheduled for April 26, 2015 in West Chester – Register, Volunteer or Donate

The West Chester University Alpha Epsilon Chapter of the national honors fraternity, Phi Sigma Pi, will be hosting a 5K walk/run on Sunday, April 26, 2015 as its annual fundraiser for the Casey Feldman Foundation (sponsor of EndDD.org – End Distracted Driving). Since April is also Distracted Driving Awareness Month and Casey was killed by a distracted driver, the fraternity also hopes to raise awareness about the dangers of distracted driving through their race [….]

NTSB to Host Multi-Modal Roundtable, “Disconnect from Deadly Distractions” – Open to the Public

On Tuesday, March 31st, the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) will be holding its first muilti-model roundtable discussion,”Disconnect From Deadly Distractions” in its offices in Washington, D.C. The roundtable will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., is open to the public and will also be webcast live. Some 40 different modal experts, researchers, advocates, educators, industry, and others will share knowledge and experiences in their disciplines, and discuss innovative solutions aimed at reducing deaths and injuries due to distraction.
